This summer I went to other communities to help the street people. During that time I encountered many people in need and the only think I had to offer them was a smile and a snack. They welcomed me to their park bench and were willing to talk about how they came to be on the streets. Now I come back to Fairmont and see the same need. How can you change your community? What can you do to help others? What would you like to see done in your community?

I would raise money doing something and then give them the money I would have raised. I would like to see less people on the streets.

You could start a group involving people who are striving to help. Have a group discussion on ideas for raising money and gathering clothing. Agree on an idea, work out a schedule including all members, and donate everything to community shelters.
i would give every one 20$ each,and spare change of cloths,and a snack.
i would surve food to them.
and i would like to help more people and see people in homes

I went to Erie Pa. and help my friends mom find thins to eat and things to help other people with it was so fun.I can change the Committe up there to some more nice houses and help with homeless.Ican care for them and help tham alot with things.I would keep picking things up that people droping
