This weeks story is about a boy who has never been to Earth. Of course it is a Science Fiction story. What kind of clues, in this story, would you look for to tell you that a story is Science Fiction?
I would look for facts and opinions. I would try to figure out if the author was using his/her imagination. I would use my past knowledge to conclude that scientists have yet to discover other life. This story may be true with future technolgy, but with current scientific knowledge this story is made simply by imagination.
I would look for the main ideas and details because a boy could never live or be born on the moon and stay there for fifteen years. The main idea would help me figure out the pupose of this story. Angela -♥-

Well, first of all there is no way you can't live on the moon for fifteen years. Second, you can't send letters to and from the moon. Third, people on Earth can't send the water you need to the moon unless it is in a spaceship. This story tells some facts about the moon but mostly it is totally fiction.
wel i would find out details because it said that the boy was born and lived on the moon for 15 years and thats how i would figure out the main details.
i would look at the stroy and look at the imagination of the author but how he put facts in a fake story like it could or could not thats what i would do.
Bc no one was ever born on the moon before. and you couldnt live there with out oxygen!!if you satyed in a closed in area or some thing you would be fine but you wouldnt have water because the water that you would take up there would eventully evaporate and disapper. and there has never been a sight of water on the moon!!: )kayla
I would say that it is a science fiction story because the people live on the moon and i`m pretty sure that the moon doesn`t have the right things for us to live on the moon.
I would look at the details,picters,and the plot.then look up on the internet,and then see if you could live on the moon,and.In furter we can find out.

It talks about the moon and people living on it.If i went to the moon i would take notes and come back and tell ever one about my week on the moon i think it wold be really cool to go on the moon.And see what is all up there.
i would see if there was any life on the moon and if there where i would see what they where and how they adapted to the life there. then i would see how the author used contact with they words and how he worded them word by word and to see how much time he put into righting the storie and if really took his time reading what he said and i would at what i no to .

Iwould also look for the main idea and details to suport it. I would figure out if the author knows any thing about being on the moon, and has experience of the moon. I would find out if there ever has been life on the moon and see if there ever will be

the moon is cool and large holes in it and nothing lives on it.it has no air.it has this thing and whenthe moon gets in a right spot it has this shadow on it and if your in it u will get cool and u will die!!!
